Morning Clarity Matcha Mushroom Latte


There’s some crazy stuff going in coffee these days, and we are so here for it. Turmeric and bone broth? Why not. Beets and ginger? Bring it. But raise your hand if you never thought you’d be adding mushrooms to your morning latte. This morning elixir is not just mushrooms though. You’ll also get matcha, collagen and one of our favorite adaptogens for a delicious superfood, brain-fog-eliminating latte.

Some of us are extra slow starting the day. We are decidedly not morning people. Instead of relying on just coffee to wake up your brain, this elixir helps you shake the tiredness and restore mental clarity without the caffeine overload.

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons Vital Proteins Matcha Powder 
  • 3 cups unsweetened almond milk, warm 
  • 2 teaspoons tahini 
  • 1 tablespoon cashew butter
  • 1 teaspoon Reishi powder
  • 1 teaspoon Lion’s Mane powder
  • 2 teaspoons maca powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly grated ginger
  • 3 pitted dates, chopped

Instructions

  1. Add all the ingredients into a blender and process to obtain a creamy liquid.
  2. Serve warm.
